'Kick-Ass' Star Aaron Johnson Says Sequel 'Would Be Great,' Confesses To Being Comics Newbie
Over the last few months, we've heard from "Kick-Ass" cast mates Chloe Moretz, Nicolas Cage, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Clark Duke and Mark Strong, but one person who we've heard very little from is Kick-Ass himself, Aaron Johnson.
In the film, Johnson plays high-schooler Dave Lizewski, a teenage comics fan who decides to try his hand at being a costumed vigilante, only to face some harsh realities about fighting crime. MTV News caught up with Johnson at the Sundance Film Festival to ask him about the film — specifically, whether he's spoken to director Matthew Vaughn or "Kick-Ass" comic co-creator Mark Millar about their plans for a sequel.
"We'll see, we'll see," said Johnson. "It would be great to do a sequel."
"Matthew's got a bunch of ideas. ... It would be very interesting, yeah," he added.
Johnson admitted that his comics savvy paled in comparison to co-star Clark Duke (who we previously spoke to about his comic-collecting habits), but he was fortunate to be surrounded by willing teachers.
"It was all quite a new experience for me," he said. "The part I play is a huge comic book fan, so I got a lot of influences on set. Also, working with Clark Duke, who plays my friend in it, he's a huge comic book fan."
"Unfortunately, I missed out on Comic-Con and things like that," he added.
Of course, if "Kick-Ass" is received as well by audiences as it has been by the select few who've seen it thus far, Johnson just might get his chance to see Comic-Con... when "Kick-Ass 2" comes around.

Okay this is interesting it would seem that there are jackasses in kangaroo land knocking Kick Ass read the article i have left a direct link to it those 'Jerk offs' need to understand what R Rated means duh Australian family groups R rated means the following
R- Restricted (1968-present)
Under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian
meaning no one under the age of 17 in some countries can see an R rated at theaters without supervision this will vary in countries of course due to each country having its own rating system this Rating is in force in the US by the MPAA (Motion Picture Association America IE if i lived in America i would have to have someone 18 or older because i am under 17 in The UK? the rating hasn't been confirmed yet there has been conjecture saying a 15 rating as some R rated movies are given a 15 Rating but that doesn't necessarily mean Kick Ass will get 15 it may get an 18 which is the UK's Equivalent to America's NC-17 i am not suggesting it definitely will get an 18 i don't know yet Kick Ass opens in the UK April 2, 2010 There have been Zombie Films rated 15 for example Wicked Little Things which starred Chloe Grace Moretz and Scout Taylor Compton and then Dead Snow a Norwegian movie that was given an 18 so it can vary but what i do not like is people slagging off a movie they haven't seen yet and for f*ck sake its only acting and we have all seen movies with violence in them before haven't we after all the real world is violent some movies reflect the real world I'm not saying all of them you might get movies about street gangs etc come on there are gangs on the streets aren't they some movies depict drug abuse and sex this happens in the real world there are people struggling living on the streets struggling to stay alive some are on drugs some aren't for example people complain about movies that contain violence they go over the top to hear some people you would think that what they are seeing is real IT IS NOT if people gave a shit more about the state of the real world where violence is concerned and drug abuse etc then what they are saying would sound more appropriate that's what i don't like they attack movies that depict violence that happens in the real world and these same people might not even take much notice of what goes on in the real world.
Oh yes by the way can i just say something else i have said this before Chloe Grace Moretz is not 11 year old she is nearly a teenager and she is a very mature young lady more mature than some people i can think of especially the Australian family groups who need to think before they come out with their ridiculous banter ITS R Rated of course they can make a film like this what do you think they were going to do give it a U Universal for all and on another note Chloe Grace Moretz is one of the biggest stars of the 2000's so please Australian family groups no more stupid remarks as far as the Australian family groups. I wonder if the Australian Family Groups are trying to intentionally destabilize, confuse or manipulate the mind of other people hoping that others will give a shit what they are saying if so that's gotta be the worst MindFuck yet oh yes before you ask i am defending Chloe and kick ass Chloe isn't the first actress her age to swear in movies and be in violent scenes and she wont be the last and this wont be the only action movie she does i can see more action movies for Chloe too theres nothing wrong with female actors in action movies Chloe can turn her hand to all genres she has proven that another actress also can do the same take sigourney weaver look at the Alien movies she did she was the heroine i think Sigourney created the foundations for more women in movies playing the heroine anyone seen heart breakers her daughter was played by Jennifer Love Hewitt she was totally different in that movie you expect a LT Ripley type of character but she is really funny in the movie.

The media dissing Kick Ass what is their major project 'Mind Fuck'
the media moan about children in movies up to no good but you don't see as much as this in the real world when u see kids up to no good in the real world so www.movieline.com 'fucking' deal with it please it is a movie nobody moans about what happens in the real world like this if they did then they would do Kick Ass isn't the first movie to star a young actress what about Natalie Portman in the Professional she was 12 not to mention Leon IT IS A MOVIE ITS NOT AS THOUGH ITS REAL IS IT and kids are that sophisticated nowadays they can watch anything with their parents or behind their backs i have watched R rated movies myself my parents did when they were kids what would you rather do let your child watch an R rated movie under your roof supervised or the thought of them watching it somewhere else at a friends house behind your back THINK ABOUT IT obviously if a movie has been deemed appropriate in the first place for a child to star in then a child can certainly watch it and many child actors do watch their films okay so media stop the fucking bollocks about oh this film is not appropriate it isn't nice to dictate to people what they can or can't watch let the fucking parents decide if kids can watch stuff behind their parents backs and they carry on doing so they are obviously not scared or they wouldn't do it most parents a majority on average guess there are roughly about 70 ~ 80% let their kids watch R rated films with them in their home on DVD i myself have the saw films on DVD box set and i am under 18 those films are 18 rated (NC-17 USA)

'Fucking' Hey Here is Some Movie stuff
Okay, 'cunts'. Let's see what you can do now. Come on
Kick-ass walking down the hall towards a large goon guarding the doorway to the flat, and he sees Kick-Ass in costume and asks, "What the 'fuck' are you supposed to be, The Green Condom?" and suggesting that Halloween isn't for a few months. He tells the guard that he's a friend of Katie's and that seems to be enough to get him in the door where he's faced with a bunch of dangerous-looking dudes, a couple playing video games. He nervously asks which one of them is Razul, but no one answers, they just look at him in his costume. Some skank in a red dress declares, "I'm Razul... can't you tell by my big titties?" which she pushes together, but in fact, Razul is the even uglier and angrier looking guy sitting on the couch behind her, who asks what he wants. Kick-Ass says he has a message for Razul from Katie and when he realizes the big guy is Razul, he tells him to stay away from Katie because it's over between them. "So if you just leave her alone, everything will be fine." He can't believe this little punk is talking to him like that, and he asks what this is and Dave declares, "I'm Kick-Ass, look me up... and this is me giving you a message, leave Katie alone." At which point, the other two guys in the room stand up and approach him, and Razul asks "Or what?" but Kick-Ass is now obviously scared yet he continues his threats and then Razul pulls out a giant knife, grabs him and says, "You're so fucking dead." Kick-Ass then hits Razul in the head with a Tazer which knocks him down but the two goons grab his arms, and pretty soon, Razul has recovered and is back up and upon him, but then a sword plunges through his chest and he falls over to reveal our first look at Mindy (Chloe) as Hit Girl complete with purple wig, and she says, "Okay, 'cunts'. Let's see what you can do now. Come on." And then we see a great full sequence of Hit Girl in action, doing some impressive martial arts swordplay akin to the famous scene in "Kill Bill" (it seemed to be set to the tune of the "Banana Splitz" theme) with limbs being chopped off and her jumping around avoiding their knives and chains. One guy pulls out a switchblade and she says, "Hey, I've got one of those" and she pulls out a similar knife and does some fancy moves before throwing it through the guy's head. The skank we saw earlier is the only one left in the room and she grabs a bottle and smashes it to go after Hit Girl who says "So you want to play" but the 'skank' instead runs towards the door to the flat and then we see the other side where the guard was sitting and two bloody swords jut through from the other side, killing the woman.
Hit Girl stands over Kick-Ass she says "the mayor has a signal he shines in the sky "in the shape of a giant 'cock'," obviously referring to Kick-Ass being a complete 'Dick' (she sounds like my kinda girl)
remember people this is only a movie so don't be fucking silly by emulating what you see in the movie..dig comprehend
